Joanne Shank's exhibit is lovely! She definitely has a way with the iris flower. I am enjoying re-reading Ray Zdonek's poems and the images Joanne has created for his forthcoming chapbook, "The Moon Speaks in Silver". The exhibit can be seen in the Wellness Arts Cafe through May 31st.
The seasonings released this winter continue to be well received. The seasoning list now includes:
L.A.O.'s - Herbal Seasoning, Everything plus Popcorn Seasoning, Curry and Garam Masala. There is some experimentation being done with rubs and when we get caught up with other things on the list, they will be released. Click here to see one of Joanne's images on the Cafe Calendar

In “One Sheet Wonders” you will have a fun
and relaxing time as you learn to make a variety of one sheet books; accordions,
tunnel, lotus fold, pop ups, and other mysterious books! These fun techniques
easily incorporate into multi-page books.
We meet Tuesdays, April 29th, May 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th, June 3. In each
session you will learn two or more techniques and create your own example book
structures. These one page books fold up in magical ways and some reveal hidden
pages when opened. Space limited to 6 students.

~“Visual Journaling in Small Spaces”
May 15th,
Thursday - Visual Journaling in Small Spaces -Collage explorations through
image and word. Collage is a great way to express your creativity. In this
workshop you will create unique visual journal art pieces. We will play with
color, composition, intention and focal point. Use as part of personal practice
or create unique gifts. Space limited to 6 students. Register with payment no
later than April 29th to hold your space. We must have three students to run
this workshop. Some materials provided. Tools/Materials List sent with
registration. 7-9pm. $25
